Sodium Sulphate Anhydrous is a white crystalline solid. With an annual production of 4 million tones, sodium sulfate is one of the world's major commodity chemicals. About half of the world's production is from mirabilite, the natural mineral form of the decahydrate, and half from by-products of chemical processes. Sodium sulfate is mainly used for the manufacture of detergent and in the Kraft process of paper pulping, although it has many other uses.
